Day 1:
PM ● Embarkation
● Overnight in Luxor

Day 2 :
AM ● Visit
the Ancient Theban Necropolis in the west
bank of Luxor to see:
● The Valley of
the Kings where more than 60 of Egypt's
Pharaohs have their resting place carved out of the mountain cliffs .
● Medinet Habu,
the Mortuary Temple of Ramses III which is
one of the last great buildings of the
Egyptian monumental architecture of the New
Kingdom.
● The Colossi of Memnon, the only remains of the funerary
Temple of Amenophis III.
PM ● Visit
the fabulous Luxor Temple and the enormous
Temple complex of Karnak . Among its
splendours is the Hypostyle Hall, the
largest of any temple in the world covering
an area of 5356 sq. meters with its roof
blocks supported by 134 colossal columns 70
feet high.
● Navigation to Esna and overnight.

Day 3 :
AM ●
Navigation to Edfu .
● Visit the most
well preserved Temple in Egypt dedicated to
the Falcon God Horus.
● Navigation to Kom Ombo.
PM ● Visit
Kom Ombo Temple the only double Temple in
Egypt shared by the crocodile headed God
Sobek and the falcon headed God Haroeiris.
● Navigation to
Aswan and overnight.

Day 4:
AM ● Visit
the High Dam (one of the greatest in the
world) , the Lyrical Temples of Philae (The
Pearl of the Nile ) rising from the waters
of the Nile .
PM ●
Sailing around Aswan Islands in the
traditional felucca (sailing boat) viewing
the Agha Khan Mausoleum and the Botanical
Garden (Kitchner Island).
● Overnight in
Aswan.

Day 5:
AM ●
Disembarkation after breakfast
● Free at
leisure or have the optional excursion to
Abu Simbel to visit the overwhelming Temples
of Ramses II which were cut from their
hillside origin in 1960 and repositioned in
their new home above the waterline of the
newly created "Lake Nasser"
